Cardboard box (27,5 x 31,5 cm) including nine positive roll-films to be projected as a slide show. Dated March 1959, it is titled “General staff of the Cinquième Bureau (French Intelligence Service). Slides. Civic Education.”
Titles appear on the rolls: Algeria: French Territory / What is the N.F.L (National Liberation Front)? What is Appeasement? / Means of Appeasement / A Soldier’s Role During Appeasement / France Defends World Liberty in Algeria.
The slide shows were shown by the French army to new recruits arriving in Algeria during the conflict.
